“Watercolor Journeys” is a detailed online watercolor course made of 12 clearly structured lessons.

This is not just a painting course. It is a living experience of places where light, air, water, architecture, and mood matter most. You are not learning to paint by rules.

You are learning to see and capture the feeling of a place the way an artist does while traveling.

Course Themes
The course is based on 12 watercolor subjects, grouped into three main thematic blocks. Each block is its own artistic world with a unique atmosphere, color mood, and creative focus.
Theme: Light and Sea
Sea, water, shore, light
Scenes where the main character is water, coastline, light, and the feeling of open space by the sea.

In this block we will paint:
  1. A peaceful paradise in Montenegro with soft sea light and shimmering reflections on the water
  2. A Danish coastal landscape with a sense of northern light and open space
  3. The lighthouse La Jument with powerful sea energy and dramatic waves
  4. Fishing boats in Budva with reflections and calm water near the shore

You will learn:
🔸 how to paint water so it feels alive and moving
🔸 how to work with light and highlights on the surface
🔸 how to build space between sea, shore, and sky
🔸 how to capture atmosphere, air, and depth
🔸 how to combine sky, water, and land into one harmonious scene

After this section youwill feel much more confident painting water and light, and you will be able to capture the feeling of the sea, not just its appearance.
Theme: Northern Europe
Calm, wind, freshness, and quiet beauty
A world of soft winds, open space, and restrained northern landscapes. There is no rush here. Only dunes, light, simple houses, and a sense of silence that fills the space.

In this block we will paint:
  1. The dunes of Rubjerg Knude in Denmark with wind, sand, and a wide open horizon
  2. The lighthouse on the Darss Peninsula with soft northern light and drifting clouds
  3. A fairy tale red house in Sweden as a warm accent in a quiet landscape
  4. Jutland with simple houses along the northern coast and a peaceful atmosphere

You will learn:
🔸 how to convey wind and a sense of open space
🔸 how to create depth and volume in a landscape
🔸 how to build composition using simple shapes
🔸 how to create silence and solitude in a painting
🔸 how to see beauty in minimalism and simplicity

After this section youwill feel more confident painting northern landscapes and will be able to express not only the form of a place, but also its character and inner calm.
Theme: Old Towns of Europe
Narrow streets, old walls, traces of time
Here watercolor becomes storytelling. Narrow alleys, warm facades, marks of time, and the feeling of life moving slowly and deeply.

In this block we will paint:
  1. A charming Spanish town, Comares, with white houses and warm southern light
  2. The old fortress in Bautzen with its strong architecture and historic atmosphere
  3. Roussillon with warm terracotta tones and the feeling of southern France
  4. An interior of an old house with soft light, silence, and a sense of cozy space

You will learn:
🔸 how to build city scenes with depth and perspective
🔸 how to express architecture through color and light
🔸 how to work with narrow spaces and complex compositions
🔸 how to create a sense of time and history

After this section you will be able to paint city scenes and interiors with confidence, so they feel alive, atmospheric, and filled with the feeling of a real place.
